Hi, I’m Mirai (she/her).
I’m a birth and postpartum doula, trained by Cornerstone Doula Trainings and based in the San Francisco Bay Area. I believe in the value of evidence-based care, the innate wisdom of the birthing process, and the transcendent power of experiencing birth. I am dedicated to upholding the right of all people to have respectful and supportive care before, during, and after birth. My educational background in medical anthropology has given me a passion for the power of intersectional birth support and its profound impact on pregnant and birthing people. To my work as a doula, I bring respect, curiosity, and openness to any birth vision that you choose to pursue.
As your doula, I will be there to support you and your family through this incredible transition, help you find the answers and resources you need, advocate for you during labor and birth, and celebrate your strength and capability as you bring new life into the world. I hold birth experiences and birth stories close to my heart, and consider supporting pregnant, birthing, and postpartum people to be a sacred responsibility.
